Diet Food Delivery
What is it that all of a sudden, people are really taking an interest in the home delivered diets that are springing up and pummeling the TV commercials with their ads for a slimmer, great looking body for almost no effort? I don’t get it why it really loos to be so easy to lose weight yet at the same time there are millions of fat people waddling down the streets in every town in the country!
So if you can lose weight and do it in such a way that it involves just getting your meals delivered to your home and then sitting down to eat them, then going off and doing whatever you normally do, then why isn’t every fat person beating a path to the door of that company? Its like diet food delivery has become some new holy grail of slimness that is held out in front of all the fat people but just out of reach so they know its there but they can’t get it.
I mentioned all this in my last post that looked at eDiets and came away none the wiser. I’m still none the wiser as to what the answer to sustainable weight loss and weight maintenance might be. It certainly can’t be in convenient dieting plans because there are still too many people who are overweight and more of them are becoming clinically obese because they are not using this diet.
Instead, people just keep on stuffing their faces with jink food and I’m sure they even know they’re harming their health but on some level they don’t give a crap. Maybe the TV ad men have done such a damn fine job of selling all that crap that people have become brainwashed and just keep eating pizza, hamburgers and ribs til it kills them, just like Elvis Presley.
A Look at eDiets
let’s take a look at one of those interesting convenient diet programs that delivery all your meals to your home and save you time and hassle because you don’t have to do anything apart form eating the meals and watching the weight drop off you. At least that’s what they say will happen…
So why am I slightly skeptical about the incredible claims from such diet food delivery companies as eDiets, or any of the rest of them, to be honest? Well, to my way of reasoning, if this diet was really so good, then how come there is still a massive obesity problem in this country? Yeah, right. I know that the eDiets Meal Delivery program is pretty easy to work with and the meals are pretty good to eat, but its probably the cost of the diet that stops a lot of people getting on it.
That’s not to say it is much more expensive that eating out most nights and then having pizza and Chinese or ribs delivered once or twice a week, never mind eating all that other crap that you get from the store. In fact, it probably works out cheaper to go on this diet than it does to keep eating yoruself into an extra extra large size outfit that is one size bigger than the last one you bought and one size smaller than the one you’re gonna buy in a few weeks!
So eDiets is easy to do, it saves time, its really not so expensive compared to eating weight gaining junk food. So why don’t more people do it? Damned if I know…
Why Keep Fit?
Hey, welcome back to the fat guy’s blog! In this post I want to ask the question, why keep fit? Then I’m gonna answer it with the logic of a fat bloke and see if it doesn’t make a whole load of sense to you!
So the first thing I think about when I think of being fit and healthy is having a slimmer body, like one you see all those pampered pussy models in glossy magazines. Do I want to look like that? Really? Not on your life! But there is of course something to maintaining a modicum of fitness without having to forsake the larger size that I’ve grown rather accustomed to these past few years! Do I keep fit in any way shape or form? Well, in my own strange way I suppose I do, although not in the way you might think is the certified way to stay in the peak of fitness.
My job is physical, which means I actually get more exercise doing what I do than most folks who do absolutely nothing! Ok, I drive a delivery truck around town, but in between the driving, I’m hauling heavy furniture and boxes in and out the the truck to people’s homes, offices etc. That’s physical work and that’s why I believe I get more exercise than some guy sitting at a desk in his nice, air conditioned office 8 hours every day and then rides home on his fat ass in a car or on a train only to spend the next 5 or so hours sat on his fat ass in front teh the TV before he hauls that lazy fat ass into bed!
Ha! That’s what an unfit and unhealthy guy does and you’d be shocked at just how many guys do exactly that with their lives, day in and day out! So for sure, they do something different at the weekends. Like maybe go visit family or friends and park that lazy fat ass on someone else’s sofa watching a ball game or something.
Then maybe placing that same lazy fat butt on a bar stool all Saturday night until he’s so loaded he can’t walk. So its into a taxi and home to bed. No exercise and no silver stars for good behavior either! Glad I’m not totally like that!
